Horses love living at Swan Lake. We plan a full-care program to suit the individual needs of each horse.

Full use of facility
12′ x 12′ matted stalls with automatic waterers cleaned daily with premium shavings
Grooming and wash stalls
Heated boarders tack room
No stall or grounds fee charges at Swan Lake horse shows.
Feed/hay tailored to your horse (supplements extra or provided by owner)
Turnout (group or private)
Blanket and boot changes
Holding for vet, farrier, dentist and masseuse (direct billing charges for these services will appear on your board statement)
Minor wound care (medications extra)
Body clipping $100 (sedation for uncooperative horses extra)

Training management including scheduling no more than 20 lessons/training sessions per month
Grooming, minor clipping, bathing included

Full-service board
Training management including scheduling no more than 10 lessons/training sessions per month
Grooming, minor clipping, bathing upon request and billed per occurrence

If you have an approved horse that can be used in lessons for other Swan Lake students, talk to Mary about this reduced board rate. Horse must be able to be used a minimum of two times per week. Horse must be suitable for beginner lessons or the Shippensburg IHSA team to qualify.
